Originally a copra ranch (Coconut products) that was acquired by the Camara family 50 years ago, after the red palm mite plague that affected the production of copra in Yucatan peninsula region, the ranch was remodeled to make a small holiday home, and with the years the house grew to became the Casa Camara of today. Now the Casa Camara has opened its doors to accommodate people who likes experiences at nature and far the cities.
